About Zion Orphanage
Founded in 1899, Zion Orphanage is the world's oldest continuously running Jewish orphanage. We provide more than 200 orphaned, homeless and disadvantaged children and youth, ages 3-22, with the highest standards of a warm, stable environment – driven by our belief in the greatness of every human being.Click here to learn more
After successful years at Zion Orphanage, our boys are ready to build their own Jewish home and pay it forward.
Yet since Zion boys have little family support, they often face the anxiety of not being able to pay for even a basic wedding celebration.
With your help, we will arrange for a simple but elegant wedding. Marriage is a fresh start, and at Zion Orphanage our motto is that everyone deserves a fresh start.
Your donation to the Zion Wedding Fund gives the new couple strength and momentum to build their Jewish home – knowing that the Jewish community stands generously behind them.
Many couples have adopted a "twinning project" – sponsoring a wedding in Jerusalem on the same night as their own – and encouraging friends and family to join in this great merit.
The Zion Orphanage is a registered seif 46 tax-deductible charity in Israel and a non-profit recognized as tax-exempt by the IRS under Section 501(c)(3). Donations are tax-deductible in the U.S., Canada, UK and Israel.
