At Zion Orphanage, we believe that a key to child development is nutritious, balanced meals.
Because children are growing and developing, they have particular nutritional requirements – carbohydrates for high energy levels, essential fatty acids for cell growth, plus vitamins and minerals to build healthy blood, bones, and immune system.
At Zion Orphanage, we strive to meet these nutritional requirements through a balanced diet of fruits, vegetables, whole grains and meats. This helps ensure the boys are energized and motivated – promoting health, well-being, and focus in school.
Now here's where you come in:
Our campus kitchen prepares hundreds of meals daily, for delivery to each "Mishpachtone" family unit (for younger children), and to the campus cafeteria for older children. In addition, each family unit has it's own kitchen, providing the option to prepare their own food, anytime day or night.
Help ensure the health and nutrition of our boys!
