Computer & Game Room

Inspiring creative and confident thinking.

At Zion Orphanage, we appreciate the increasing role of technology. Our goal is a technological education that inspires more creative and confident thinking.

At the same time, we closely monitor the boys' computer activities, directing them to utilize the computer as a tool for education, communication, and problem-solving.

Over 100 years ago, our founder Rabbi A.Y. Blumenthal emphasized confidence-building activities that enhance creativity and imagination. Today, whether it's photography, computer graphics or electronics, these activities stimulate the boys' social, emotional, linguistic and cognitive capabilities.

Additionally, Zion boys excel at carefully-curated selection of games that teach:

  1. strategy, logic, future-thinking, and problem-solving
  2. math and reading skills
  3. negotiating, resources and time management
  4. following rules, cooperating with others, and how to win/lose graciously

Your help will give these boys skills and inspiration for a lifetime.
